Standard master bathrooms tend to measure 9ft by 7 ft, 14ft by 6ft and 9ft by 5 ft.

One plan you may consider is where the shower is located at the opposite side of the bath so that the toilet does not hinder you from getting in and out of the shower. Although this will expose the toilet as you bath, you can easily make use of a curtain across the bath.

Here spa is referring to the bath area some people add additional features to it such as steaming or sauna section.

You may also consider a plan where you enter the shower before reaching the tub. You have the option of installing a shower screen or curtain between the shower and the bath. It will be a great idea to position the door right at the end of the bathroom.

You are not restricted to having only one master bathroom. You may choose to have one master bathroom divided into two master bathrooms; his and hers bathroom.  You can have separate sinks and toilets but have a common shower and bath. You may also choose to share the toilet and sinks but separate baths and showers. It is important to point out this requires some level of investment and you really need to decide if it is really necessary to have two master bathrooms.

For small places, the division can be done by limiting the area for bathroom and kitchen. The same practice is in use for the construction of small-scaled apartments as well. The designers believe that rooms used daily in routine must be kept wide and spacious as compared to bath if the plot has got a small space for interior and decor.

It is time to explore many different floor plans for your  master bathroom, so you would be able to make your own design or just to pick the best design. You can definitely make your own plan but it is always good to get help from an expert.
